X-zylo Could Help Win Game 3

...and you could get a free X-zylo
October 27, 2007

Have you heard of the new Major League Baseball pitch called the Gyroball? For non-baseball goers the gyroball has been called the miracle pitch. From the batters perspective it looks like a slider then to the pitchers advantage acts like a fastball, flying straight into the catchers glove with virtually no movement in it's flight pattern. In fact, Kazushi Tezuka, the creator of the gyroball, says it should not move at all.

This perfectly straight flight is what makes the batter miss because we humans are not used to seeing thrown objects fly so straight. The starting pitcher for the Boston Red Sox in todays game 3 of the World Series Daisuke Matsuzaka, from Japan, has been known to throw this pitch. The gyroball is the first new pitch in Major League Baseball since 1976.

Does this straigh flight pattern sound familiar? The astonished human reaction is very similar to what happens when people see the X-zylo, a flying gyroscope, fly. X-zylo fans know this excitement of seeing something defy gravity in this way. We felt it when we saw an X-zylo fly for the first time and see it in others when they are amazed at what we are throwing.
